Barbours Cut Terminal – Port of Houston, Houston, TX

This project consisted of providing subsurface utility engineering services for electric, communication, telephone, fiber optic, cable TV, natural gas distribution, fuel transmission, water, waste water and storm sewer mains. Records research (ASCE Quality Level D), field survey of existing utility surface features (ASCE Quality Level C), designating (ASCE Quality Level B) utilizing electronic toning by direct connect and sonic equipment of precise horizontal location of utilities and locating (ASCE Quality Level A) subsurface utility engineering services were provided. Non-destructive exposure of individual utilities and surveying of precise X, Y, Z coordinate location of specified utility was also provided. Locating (ASCE Quality Level A) services on critical utility crossings were provided so that utility conflicts with proposed improvements could be determined and resolved. The information collected was used in the design phase to analyze conflicts between the existing utility systems and the proposed electric and communications duct banks at the Port of Houston’s Barbours Cut Terminal.

Angleton Yard Siding Project – Union Pacific Rail Road, Angleton, TX

Hempstead Rd. Fiber Replacement Project – Texas Department of Transportation, Houston, TX

This project consisted of providing locating (ASCE Quality Level A) subsurface utility engineering services for the Fiber Relocation project for TxDOT. Non-destructive exposure of individual utilities and surveying of precise X, Y, Z coordinate location of specified utility was provided.  The information collected was used in the design phase of the fiber optic conduit relocation project. Worked in conjunction with the designer to provide specific information on the conflicting utilities and design the new fiber conduit taking in consideration the precise location of all existing utilities.

San Juan Waterfront Project – Puerto Rico Ports Authority, San Juan, PR

This project consisted of providing subsurface utility engineering services for designating electric, communication, telephone, fiber optic, cable TV, natural gas distribution, fuel transmission, water, waste water and storm sewer mains. Records research (ASCE Quality Level D), field survey of existing utility surface features (ASCE Quality Level C), designating (ASCE Quality Level B) utilizing electronic toning by direct connect and sonic equipment of precise horizontal location of utilities. We also cleared more than 60 geotechnical boring locations to avoid damaging existing utilities during the drilling process for the geotechnical and environmental studies. The information collected was used in the design phase to analyze conflicts between the existing utility systems and the proposed Waterfront renovation project form Piers 4 to 16 in the San Juan Bay area.

Ponce De Leon Combined Sewer Separation Project – Puerto Rico Aqueduct and Sewer Authority, San Juan , PR
